Hello 👋 I have a question regarding exporting delta tables from one databricks workspace to another. I have a heavy volume data that I processed in lower environment, lets say dev. Now, can I have an option to just export the ingested data into prod and then run incremental jobs on prod to reduce the time/cost/effort?

I assume it’s a one off thing for a release perhaps? yes, you can simply move the data.. there is not any ties to a workspace or any other delta read/write catalog that delta has.. only the metadata itself is needed. If you register the files in a metastore (E.g. Databricks internal) it’s creating a reference to those metadata files afaik
