Hopefully last question of the day. Are there any publications from big names who have adopted the "Delta Lake" infrastructure and who might sing praise on it? Looking for something to show my bosses boss - hey, they did it, so should we.

Not sure if this counts, but I’ve used this video with my managers often to show that Apple is doing it (at Apple scale), and we (a SaaS company) can too.

It’s worth noting that apple almost never releases or talks about vendors so this is quite an accomplishment. You can also look at the delta.io page and look at the companies contributing and assume they are using it if they are contributing

(Side note : I should think about how to get Iterable up there… been fairly early adopters of it, pre merge schemas lol)

As the Apple person that talks about our use of Delta Lake, I will say that beyond what I presented at Data+AI Summit, our daily ingest into Delta Lake is currently ~5PB. We have single Delta Lake tables over 20PB in size.
