Oof! It does sound pretty draconian, glad to hear we're mostly safe from the requirements if it all goes through. We'll have to start referring to it as Ferris's Delta Lake library šŸ˜›

I disagree with it sounding draconian, unfortunately a lot of people involved in the pearl-clutching aren't as familiar with US trademark enforcement needs/policies
The
rs
and Ferris routes make a lot of sense to me for more liberal use
