Good morning. I started working with Delta Lake and I am new to this whole process. We have installed a delta lake, spark, EMR, Pulsar with the aws cloud and created a database in aws glue in the Data Catalog and there several tables with their location in the S3 and Classification type parquet. I want to know if when creating these tables here are delta type or where they should be created to be delta type. Thank you very much for your collaboration.

those are probably just parquet tables, it would say delta if they are delta tables, check out this blog post by @Matthew Powers on how to conver them https://delta.io/blog/2022-09-23-convert-parquet-to-delta/

they can be created in many ways, using Spark for example (https://docs.delta.io/latest/quick-start.html#create-a-table)

Good morning, thank you very much for your answer. The tables that I had as parquet type classification in aws glue I used Crawlers to convert them into delta type. Is it ok to do it this way?
