@Will Jones with those great writer changes of yours, shall I cut us a new release?

Yeah I was thinking we should release soon. I have one more PR I'll have ready soon, but it's fine that if that goes in another release later.

I have two in flight that would be great to get in, although one may be a bit experimental. A storage catalog for datafusion - https://github.com/delta-io/delta-rs/pull/1381, but since we are not (yet) exposing that in datafusion, may be fine. In the other one, I tried to fix the environment overwriting credentials passed in config. https://github.com/delta-io/delta-rs/pull/1378. Just updated that, maybe you have opinions?

personally I don't have any problem landing and releasing experimental stuff. The first PR I've looked at, the second I haven't had a chance to see yet

An I the only one for whom github is acting up right now, or are others experiencing issues as well?
