Sorry for the lame question, I have come across this article https://www.dremio.com/blog/comparison-of-data-lake-table-formats-apache-iceberg-apache-hudi-and-delta-lake/ where it says delta lake is non Apache license and mostly driven by databricks But i have seen announcement reading delta lake is now part of Linux foundation project. Github of delta shows it is an apace licensed one. Can someone please help clear this out. Thanks.

Not mutually exclusive. The project uses the Apache license, as the article correctly states, but is not governed by Apache, is part of Linux foundation
